Profile
David Hicks broke from English country-house decoration by combining antiques with hard-edge geometric carpets and tablescapes of objects grouped by color. The hexagonal Hicks pattern is still in production. He decorated for Helena Rubinstein, the Prince of Wales, and his own family at Britwell Salome.
