Profile
Thomas O'Brien founded Aero Studios in 1992 and built a parallel retail life through Aero on Bleecker. He pioneered the look of "warm modernism" — twentieth-century industrial pieces sitting comfortably alongside 18th-century French antiques — and his Target line shifted American taste in the early 2000s.
Visual language
Industrial pendants, 1940s leather, bleached oak, warm whites.
